PUBLIC NOTICE:
Insurance Administration to Review Certain Regulations

Review of COMAR 31.10.01-.41

In accordance with the Regulatory Review and Evaluation Act, State Government Article, §§10-130—10-139, Annotated Code of Maryland, the Maryland Insurance Administration (MIA) is reviewing and evaluating certain regulations codified within Subtitle 10 of Title 31 of the Code of Maryland Regulations, entitled Health Insurance – General. The purpose of the review and evaluation is to determine whether existing regulations continue to accomplish the purposes for which they were adopted, clarify ambiguous or unclear language, and repeal obsolete or duplicative provisions.
