Managing General Agents

Maryland statute requires Managing General Agents (MGA's) to apply for a Certificate of Qualification from the Maryland Insurance Administration (MIA).  The purpose of this material is to summarize and outline briefly the administrative procedures of the MIA for processing qualification applications of MGA's.
