Life and Health insurance Town Hall Forums

Insurance Commissioner Al Redmer, Jr. will be conducting town hall forums around the State to solicit feedback on issues related to the state’s life and health insurance sector. Consumers, business owners, and regulated insurance entities are invited to participate. Some of the topics to be discussed include implementation of the Affordable Care Act, changes to employee benefit plans, as well as options with medical stop-loss insurance, and experiences with the Maryland’s Health Benefit Exchange. Carolyn Quattrocki, Executive Director of the Maryland Health Benefit Exchange, will also be in attendance with Commissioner Redmer. The town hall forums to discuss life and health insurance markets are scheduled as followed:
